Trex500L with a better ESC in Governor mode

Hi,

I'm looking for my Trex500L for a better ESC.
As better ESC's come larger, I'm thinking about a mounting on the side.
Does anybody have pictures for such an installation?

Favorable Controller is for me Hobbywing Platinum.

I have the 100a v3, it is mounted on the esc tray where you would consider "stock." Fits just fine, no issues with wires or getting the canopy on. Great internal governor and bec.

The V4 80 wont fit, same footprint as it's bigger brother it's lighter . The only bad thing. V4 al the way on all of mine.

Yes, the HW 100A is smaller than the 80A V4.

Will flight time be reduced with the HW 100A?

no..prob not much, if any. even with active freewheeling in the 80a, i'll take placement of the 100a over af.

Flight time, Not by much more but the V4 has other benefits the V3 doesn't have. I does have the latest electronics and runs cooler.
Ya the 80 is a odd ball, same case as it's bigger brother but I love it on my 500L
