I was out flying my chroma without the camera basically just running the battery down for storage. I pulled the landing gear off and thought about flying without it but when I set the quad on the ground it was very wobbly. I didn't try it because I wasn't sure what might happen. I was worried it would wobble and tip over.

Yes! All the time for fun-flying. I do not fly for sport with skids unless I'm too lazy to take them off.

To me it's actually MORE stable than with the landing gear. Try it in stability mode and see.

I know this is old, but it takes 5 seconds to remove the landing gear. I had a blast playing around with mine with the gear.

MISTAKE: I sold mine to get a Yuneec 500, what a mistake I made. I wish the Blade Chroma's were still here.
