Align 3GX MRS (S-FHSS) w/ Spirit Pro FBL

Hi,

I have sitting in my chest a 3GX MRS all-in-on receiver (w/ S-FHSS) w/ built-in Gyro. I also have a Spirit Pro FBL gyro.

Can I connect the 3GX MRS to the Spirit Pro with out any worries and fly? I would simply like to use the S-FHSS receiver of the 3GX MRS and the Spirit Pro for its full FBL capabilities.

Additionally, the 3GX MRS is mandatory to be mounted upside-down (if used as a gyro). Since I intend to only use the receiver, does it matter if it is mounted upside-down or can I use it in any orientation?

I am not sure that would work nor a good idea, basically you are trying to use 3GX MRS as a receiver passing through the signal to the Spirit FBL.

Do yourself a favour, just get a receiver to use with your Spirit FBL.
