Default Battery Charging, Futaba 14SG w/ Duo 406

Who uses there 406 or other charger to charge the NiMh battery pack in the Futaba 14SG Radio?

It would be much easier this way, just verifying it can be done.

No problem, it's easily done, FYI.

Are you talking about while it is still in the tx and using the external jack or taking it out of the tx and charging directly to the battery? If you are using the TX jack I would be careful as other futaba TXs would have a diode on the external jack. This would prevent getting a voltage reading from the external jack and chargers would have no way to sense the delta V and shut off.

Taking it out and charging straight to the battery.

It's working good for me as well. I could build a spyder leed connector and plug straight into the Radio, but I am charging it the way I feel is safe and sure.
