Angry super fast - pitch range

I have a problem with negative pitch my DX8 on my sim. When I am at mid stick and do negative within 1 "notch" or so it goes from 0 to -13. Where as going positive pitch is throught the enitre "notch" range. By notch I mean the lines next to my sticks. What gives? It makes practicing inverted anything a bitch. HELP!

Basic solution is to go through the calibration. Be sure to follow the directions carefully and then check your orange bars afterwards to see if they move how they should.

Also, be sure that you have a fresh, clean, all-default model selected in the Tx, with a one-servo swash. Set up your normal and stunt (Idle Up) pitch and throttle curves on the Tx.

If you've checked all that, let us know and we'll help more, but without proper calibration, anything can happen when you move the sticks.

+1 and just adding a bit:

When calibrating, double check both pitch and throttle curves are linear 0-100, no trim or subtrim, no expo or dual rate. Else the calibration won't work properly. I have on my tx a model profile for calibrating, then when I'm done, I'll switch to the profile I'll be using for the heli.

I recalibrated and now my pitch is good, but my TH doesn't work anymore, my throttle is backwards and the throttle won't work at all in IU.

Reverse the throttle, either in the sim or in the tx. See if that does the trick. If the throttle is reversed then IU would result in zero throttle, that's fully expected.

That's what I was planning on. Any advice on the TH and IU not working?

Default Problem Fixed

I figured it out. I had to recalibrated with no expo or dual rates. I laso had to have a linear pitch and throttle curve.
