Default New P6 canopy (FRP) in stars and stripes

We've been busy developing some new things for the Panteras. Below is a link to our new P6 (painted fiberglass) canopy in stars and stripes? I hope to have them here in a couple or three weeks.

Matt, we received yor order at 6:50 PM yesterday. Knowing you needed the parts for your fun fly this weekend we rushed to pack them and drove across town to the postal distribution facility, which has a 7:30PM drop box (that's where all the individual post offices take their mail). Unfortunately, we got there 3 minutes late . . . but just as the postman was coming out with his cart to empty the drop box. End result? Your parts are headed your way and should be there in time. Anyway, I figure you owe me a hamburger and a milkshake for the extra effort. JB

Yeah, we try harder . . . was that Avis? Nevertheless, we're mirred in a lack of market traction as folks ask others what to buy instead of deciding for themselves what's in their own best interest. Thus, in the face of the herd instinct, Align is beating us senseless. Frankly, I just don't know what to do about it and thus, have decided to go my own way with things instead.

This means I finally pullled the trigger on the 4-blade rotor head. We're manufacturing them right now (principally Made in USA, by the way). These might not be the smartest thing I have ever commited to making but man they just sound so cool (much different from a conventional 2-blade head). Moreover, they look rather different in the air (the rotor disk looks more solid) and on the ground they always garner attention (they look sort of wicked). Best of all, they efficiently absorb the horsepower of our 91-conversion, which we've given the moniker of Nitro Express.

Fying something of a rush and if you thought a P6 was quick to accelerate from the hover before, you should see how they rockets up now. That and they instantly change directions because of how the 4-blade rotor head woks in conjunction with the serious boost in horsepower. It's not just awesome to see but rather a lot of fun to fly because it handles . . . rather like an ordinary Pantera until you drop the hammer and go ballistic.

I'll post photos and videos as soon as I have production parts in hand (maybe another two weeks, or so).

Fantastic, I'll start setting the funds aside. This will be good timing for me as more people dump their underpowered 90 engines for the 105s and 120s.

A few more weeks on canopies. They're being painted now.

As for the 4-blade rotor head, yes the 55 will pull one. I suspect the best combination will be with 550mm blades.

Oh yeah, all the canopy mounts are compatible beginning with the Tiger 50 and progressing through the Pantera family.

Hey John, that is a very sweet looking canopy. Will be ordering one in the near future when I get some money saved up.

Well, don't forget the international owner people. I liked a lot one of the initial intend like this beautiful canopy too. It is possible to have one in production soon?

No body remember this design?

To make a may be stupid comment, how difficult would be to have and airframe designed to make and electric FBL PANTERA from a very basic design. So you don't need to spend money in some tools to make the right procedure done and in additional parts, just in the electronics need it to make a powerful electric FBL PANTERA with the canopy in the attachment. So beautiful helicopter. Seriously if I can help in some way I would be disposed to do anything in my scope.

It is just an idea. May be an intresting 2013 E PROJECT.

Mr. John sorry is this sound silly but one can dream. NO?

Saludos

Anybody who has dealt with painters know delays creep into the system, it's inevitable.

Anyway, here's an update: they expect to complete painting, and pack them out to me on or about the 15th of August. Assuming they slip another week, plus it takes a week to receive them, I think we're looking at the end of August as a realistic date.
