Default Super Scale AS350 with Bavarian Demon Rigid V2

I think the norm is for this air frame is a Naza H with GPS. I like the Bavarian Demon Rigid V2. Just wondering if anyone had flown the Compactor 700 scale mechanics and a multi-blade head and the BD Rigid V2 before

I guess this is an older system. But anything can be done. Before crash!
Don't know about your specific FBL but with the multi head... just make sure that your phasing is OK. The one blade over at 90 degrees is a good test. You can do mechanical phasing (swinging the swashplate to offset fir phasing-easy with three blades). Electronic phasing can be done in some FBL unit. Really not sure about yours though.

Default FBL phasing...... good point

According to the slick sheet, it has a plug and play head so phasing shouldn't be an issue. Which is a good thing, I don't see phasing in the BD

The NAZA is great, I just could never get the slight nodding/porpoising out of it when in ATTI or ATTI with GPS on my 500 N model Huey or 500 W Cobra.
Switched them both to Bavarian Demon and I was happier.
Still have a NAZA H in a Huey that fly's OK.

For work I fly a Inspire 1 and a Flame Wheel with Naza controllers and they don't do that at all.

Plan B, I do have that Naza H with GPS I can pull out of a 500 B model Huey.

Naza is what they sell, you can use any flight controller that you like, the Naza is not a requirement.

The Naza is probably a good choice for pilots with poor flight skills, that can't fly very well, needing to lock it into a GPS hover and save it from crashing.

I used the AR7200 in my Super Scale Cobra, and now use Mikado Neo in my Super Scale AS350.

Default shipping

Slowly collecting the parts.
Tomorrow is prep and prime day for the fuse

This thing is big....... but the whole point of this project is to make the DJI Inspire 1 seem a lot smaller to my poor little brain. So, I'm using a scale 700 heli as a warm up bird for a quad copter.
There is something wrong with me it think...
