Thats not a main gear it's an tail gear.

KDE just began shipping the helical main gear. AFAIK Align has not delivered theirs yet.

I've been running the Align helical main gear for some time now. Have even stripped a couple.

Two downsides. Mucho expensive and just came out so no track record.

OTOH KDE stuff has always been very good for me as I also could not find the align gear anywhere.

I also would not do business with that particular vendor as I tried repeatedly for 18 months to order from them and could never even get the courtesy of a "bugger off kid your bothering us"

BTW just ordered a bunch of stuff from A main hobbies. Not the first time but I was impressed at the amount of stuff they have that is not chronically listed as "out of stock" or "check for availability"

The new helical pinion http://www.align.com.tw/shop/product...oducts_id=4422 works, as Align mentions, only with the CNC helical main gear H70020B, which is issued for the 700E. That's where you need to look in order to find it.

KDE helical main gear is made of the same material as the straight one. If you have used the straight one before, you will know exactly what to expect. Same good quality and self lubricating property. It is also super strong.

I used the straight one for about a year with numerous crashes. Still works fine. Used the helical version for just over a month now. Works great.
