Thanks, I could not see the white canopy so I painted the canopy yellow.

I currently have the large e325s canopy, but I miss the original shaped canopy which I think looks much more individual.

+1 to Heli1s flying- makes me jealous

Thanks
Apologies Nick - I've been away for a while. I missed your post last month I've been moon-lighting with my new plane ...

For me the bright orange and yellow seem to pop the best. The green one not so much.

Looks well cool mate. I have those same blades on my v1. I need a v1 green canopy now like yours. Next stop ebay....

Default Cobra strikes

Hi everyone happy 2014 !

I am from Singapore and I just got to check out this fantastic heli-specific website recently and registered.
I am a beginner in heli and just got myself a TT MT E325.
First I got it done up in Agusta fuselage, bad landing during learning and now I had done up a new Cobra AH-1W.

Mechanics & electronics are out of the box except that I had converted into a flybarless with a Robird G31 FBL system.
I fly with a JR Propo XG-7 on 3S 2200 mAh Lipo with the fuselage I had to add 70 grams nose weight to balance the CG.

For the body, I painted on the inside with Tamiya Gun Metal.
To finish off the shine coat that comes with every polycarbonate material, I mist the outside with clear coat.

Currently working on RealFlight 4.5 to build up my skills as I had one too many mishap on the field

Hope to learn from the pros here...
I am leaning towards scale flying, so no belly up yet as I don't want the cobra to turn into a $20 grass trimmer machine

So I usually fly at a park field that's about a 3 minute walk from the house but a few days ago I was doing some driving on the back side of my neighborhood and to be honest I've never had a reason in the past 18 months I've lived in this community to go back there. We'll..... I hit the jackpot! It was so nice that it inspired me to snap the first pictures of my MT so here ya go... Hope you enjoy.

Thats a very neat looking V2. Nice to be able to hide the gyro down below too.

I always mount the tail servo on the other side of the boom to protect from blade strike in a crash.

great looking flying area....

Sick! Nice looking heli! Is that a 360 canopy? I've been looking around for different canopies and really didn't find too much...

No, it's a custom Canomod canopy, fiberglass, "Monster" design.

How do you like the DS95 and DS95i?

Any notable difference between these and the Turnigy 306G servos?

I've never used the Turnigy servos so I couldn't give you a accurate review between the two. The MT is my first cp heli I have a novus 200fp that I learned on and a mcpx bl that I try new stuff on.

All I know is I had a lhs setup the AR7200 reciver/fbl controller the first time and they left it in sport mode and the help felt like it was on crack lol. It was really sensitive to say the least... After a little learning and reprogramming the AR7200 to normal mode I can do some fun fff and loops.

But if its worth anything the tail is locked in really well! It does not budge in pitch pumps, loops or fff.

Nice! What's the gps unit for?
Also, that landing gear are you using? Does it fit the MTv2?
