Default Okay, so I'm impatient

After waiting about 3 whole hours for a response on my zoom/hornet/motors questions I just dove in. I went out and bought a Zoom 400 kit (Shogun) and ordered the brushless and one LiPo set. I still need to get the Gyro and then I should be all set.

I ordered the Himaxx 2025-5300, originally intended to order the 4200, but I'll give this a shot as well and if I don't like it, order the 4200. I bought a 3 cell 1500mah battery pack as well. The castle creations Pheonix 25 to go with the motor, carbon fiber tail boom on the way and I'm ordering some pinions today. I'm planning on using my stock JR 7 channel slimline reciever and probabaly a gy240 gyro in the thing.

Is anyone on here flying one of these things? The kit and motor showed up today, just need to grab the GY240 and some servos.

I'm glad to see someone has received theirs. Where did you get it?

I bought it from hobbyclub.com they had them in stock so I jumped on it. One thing I did notice, because someone else posted it, the screws under the swash are missing so I just need to find 4 tiny screws... No idea where to find four tiny screws, my stock consists mostly of screws that are 10 times too large. It is the newer version with the 3 bearings in the tail boom and such though.

Around here I could tell you SAR were to get them. Look in the phone book under fasteners you might find some there. That is were I get all my nuts bolts screws from. Or look for an auto motive fastener place they might have what your looking for. Have a size for them though. If you say tinny they'll say what size tiny.

Well, my guess is metric M.5x1 maybe. I'm gonna look for an eyeglass repair kit, about the same size I think.

I'm in kingston, it's about 90 miles north of NYC (fortunately!) First Capitol of NY. I don't know where you are, but if it's within driving distance and you have a heli(or not) you should swing by our field in Orange County, which is about 60 miles from the city.

I should have said, if you're up visiting and in the area, sorry
