550e costs
I want to build a 550e. I have a 450 PRO and would like to step up in size. I plan on running a BeastX FBL. I love it on my 450!
What would be the cheapest way to buy if I plan on upgrading all the servos and electronics? |

The GrandRC build your own combo looks like a decent deal if you want to start swapping pieces out. If I were buying another 550E right now I would probably go that route.

Im actualy thinking to buy one for myself too and i have seen T550 FB S.COMBO for about 650 $ so its only 150$ more that from cgrandrc with equipment worthet at least 250$
Ofcource buying only kit is great deal but for those who want "plug'n'play" option,IMO better to buy whole superior combo and just get rid of stock parts right away-best bang for buck. BR Martin P.s Im flying with flybar,so that cut the cost also.

The straight 550 3G package is Total: USD 851.00 if you select EMS and I'm sure you'll get it for less in the US. Edit: It is most likely an attractive deal for those not in the US.

+1 for Kirk at Performanceplusrc.com. He is a quality guy who runs a great operation. Tell him what you want to do and he will work with you.

I did't say it's cheap
As i said before, for me,best to buy whole T550 S.combo and just sell all electronics. But it's personal choose ofcourse. P.s.Almost every product find its costomer-vide turnigy lipos from ebay BR

The BeastX can be used with a Spektrum satellite so you don't need the main rx unit. Problem is on a bigger heli like the 550, running only one satellite is risky. There is supposed to be an adapter coming that will allow the use of two satellites, but it hasn't hit the shelves yet.
