gelcoat free natural glass finish, unprimed or painted, the BEST way, saves weight, gel is heavy if applied too thick.

George, whats the crack with the mechanics for these birds, MAY be easier to fabricate a set up, as it would be a shame to fit mechs that encroach into the cabin area.

Will you ever do a 1/5th scale Longranger ? as it will fit my zealous mechanics perfectly and have all the best scale detailing..

What would you require as a minimum order to do 1/5th scale version of 206L

Thanks again for all your kind words guys.

@Dan, the static rotor head parts come raw and need to be primed and painted, similar to the other resins cast parts in the kit.

@Stats, my fuselages are primed with an epoxy primer which only needs to be scuffed, de-greased then is can be painted. Was told several sets of mechanics will ship soon, we'll see.

@Matt, sorry at this time I have no plans to do anything smaller then 1/4 scale. That Zealous should fit in a 1/4 scale fuse no problem, would only need to extend the TR drive shaft.

It was worth a try, I know the zealous will fit I have managed to get hold of the right length main shaft, and tail drive.
It is just 1/4 scale is too big and impracticle for transportation, and trying to work on such a large model in a normal home is a NO NO, 1/5 scale is big but not too big, and can be easily transported and lifted to the flight line..
Hence the reason for asking..

It was worth a try, will be interested in the mechanics..

Hi Guys,

At Heli Expo 2011 here in Orlando, Bell Helicopter unveiled the Bell 407GX. In short, it's a Bell 407 equipped with dual Garmin displays and some "other cool features"

You all know me by now, I had to replicate this in 1/4 scale, then take it to the next level.

Here's a "spy photo" of my hand crafted accurate 1/4 scale version of the Bell 407GX Instrument Panel. The exterior details of the Super Scale Helis Bell 407GX will also be replicated, after all it is "Super Scale".

Will the displays actually display digital animated images? You'll have to wait and see.
