Default First flights of 2012

Got out for my much needed first flights of the year, I think it's been at least 3 months since I've been able to get out and with the temp here in indiana around 50 degrees it was hard to pass the chance to get out and fly. I have to say I have sure missed getting the Pantera up in the air and it was flying great.

I was actually a little nervous on first spool up since it had been so long since i had flown but I figured screw it and popped it in the air and I would just have to figure it out.

Happy Flying

By the end of the 2nd tank you had caught-up with days ago...your 3rd tank was the best I've seen from you yet...getting VERY consitant in altitude control (bit of a trick on windy days - AKA collective management).

The machine sounded great and the new pieces you installed(blades & paddles) had it tracking straight as an arrow though your rolls and loops weren't too shabby either.

Must share that I nearly soiled my shorts...a near blade-stop auto that was WAY DOWN WIND...at least she lit-up when asked...and the second series of commands were in the correct orientation.

Don't want to loose this P6 hybrid - it's great for scaring air molecules and making me smile!

Flying has been slow here with weather and life. I found 10 minutes between work and my next schedule yesterday and thew a battery in the newly rebuilt 450 and threw it around for 5 minutes or so. Not a Pantera, but scratches the itch for quick and dirty airtime.

First flight of the year out of the way now (-:

Sunday looks to be a possibility for us.

Fingers X'ed,

Dale

well with the road trip to see the Rat in orlando, maybe NOW I can find just a little space for a heli in the honda van.

Been busy here, getting better slowly, but lyme takes its time.

This is one of my bad nights burning leg and back cant sleep, but the freak is always there 24/7.

Thanks Will.
