May?! Whoever told you may was somethin, it was planned to come out after the 300x which was this month now its next month, go figure, but I think the 500 being the most new size to blade, 4503d=450x SR=300x ??=500, it was estimated that it wouldn't be coming out till at least the end of the summer. Also I think that your one of the only people that is waiting on this considering most people don't want to get near a BNF 500 sized heli. + it is a lot more then the trex 500's so its not the best deal unlike how the other bnf blade stuff is cheaper.

I doubt this will actually see the light of day. There is just no demand for it, especially at that price.

Default Just a thought...

I have a Trex 500EFL Super Pro that I need to get a 7200BX to use with my Dx7. Just thinking..by the time I get the 7200BX I will be at the price of the 500X. So the question is even though the 500X isn't out yet..do I build the TRex 500EFL and get the 7200BX or wait and get the 500X? In between the two but both look to be a great setup...BTW..I know how to fly but looking for something to get better in my flying skills...Thanks!

Build your super pro, it's been around for awhile and has a proven track record, flys awsome, has tons of upgrade options, tt tail, very little plastic, cant go wrong.....let someone else be the guinea pig with the 500x...

Arrow

www.ampdraw.com is listing the 500x for $775.19 and the 500 3D BNF for $505.59.
And they ship most stuff for around 7 bucks. They sell the whole blade lineup for cheap.

Hmm... thats without radio, servo's, etc...

I would imagine all said and done, the 500 will be a great value at its price point. The BX alone is worth at least $200, plus all of the other "upgrades" like the CF frame, all aluminum swash, etc., etc...

Why all the hating on the 500X? Personally, I cant wait to get my hands on one!

The regular blade 500 comes flybarred and at the same price point as the align tail driven plastic 500 super combo, probably could go with either, personally i would go align only because of aftermarket support...

As far as 500x vs 500 pro, dunno put them both side to side then see which one you would pick.... as for one outflying the other, they probably both fly awsome....Personally I rather spend my money on the align pro, or better yet protos or gaui...or better even yet is spend a couple extra bucks and go 550 - 600 size...

Im going to pick up a 500x probably. I like running products from the same brand and the Beast is so much better than the 3gX

That 520 motor is going to be more reliable right...

I got my 500 EFL Pro ( I haven't heard of the super pro, BTW) for less than 600 at performancercplus.com. Kurt is a great guy to deal with and he will customize your bird the way you want it ( I ordered mine without the GX unit). Overall, I spent less than $800 (super combo plus the AR7200BX). Although I'm a Blade fan, I would not trade my EFL for a 500 Blade heli. It's a solid bird with proven record.
