Default EI conversion on 231RS

Hello Al I was wondering about a EI conversion on my 231RS but wanted to run it by you.Is the flywheel zero balanced or is it part of the counterbalance equation? What are your thought's on the EI conversion? Thanks and take care.

You should not have a problem with vibes, I have tested the ei on the fury55 gas proto and seemed fine to 13,200 but that is a different engine. Mike(zman) has been running one on his Radical 30 . I will ask him and get some feed back. Peace, Al

Saw this post Al. I now have three of my gassers on ei. Two of them are TRM's and the other is a 231 stock. All three are just as smooth as before and to me sound a little cleaner around midrange. Two of these engines I have taken up to 13500 to check and still no vibs. Silky smooth . You da man.
