Hi Piranha,
That a123 pack looks cool, how do they perform? I tried to ask you already sometime, but how's that a123 7s doing? I'm interested at your findings. Maurice |

Im very sorry that I have forgotten about your PM I like how the 123 Perform! Its a great thing that I dont even need to take off my pack from helli to recharge it takes 15-20 min to charge it and I can fly mi bird like NITRO but only for 4-4.5min flight time! Now I fly with Z20 1700KV motor and align ESC but whant to try Align 600 motor and maybe 8s123 setup^ so my powersystem is not finalised yet |

I wanted to make the red canopy look menacing but instead it looks like a Muppet.

Maybe not menacing but cool nonetheless!

An align 600xl with 8s a123 would be wicked dont you all think? The weight probibly being the only issue.

@Thedrill:
Not that bad Seriously, If you move the eyes down to the red area, just beneath the black. And use halve circles of white with the black iris touching the upper straight line and slightly tilt the eyes inwards. It definitely will look more menacing. If it's beneath a clear-coat than it's going to be hard though Great looking heli! Eric

Well I've ended up having to spray mine. I wasn't going to bother as I was quite happy with it being black & white as per my previous pic, am a learner anyway so thought it would get crash damaged within a few flights, so basicaly wasn't worth the time to paint it.
All I could ever do on my Trex 450 was hover tail in & move left/right/forwards/backwards tail in, anything else resulted in a crash or lots of wobbling about to get it tail in again. I spent a week hovering this thing tail in to get used to it's larger size, but have found it to be so stable compared to the 450, even in a fair bit of wind, that I'm now zooming around all over the place & having a fantastic time doing so . Nose in hovers 50 feet high, whizzing left to right for 25 yards each way with a sort of 45 degree stall turn at each end etc. It's now flying so far away at times I was starting to loose the white bits in the sky, so felt it time to slap on some paint. Went for flourescent orange. Much easier to see now at a distance. Love this model, it's got me past my mental block of flying nose in/side on etc due to it's stability and larger size, it has given me the confidence I needed to suddenly progress past tail in only. |

Here's mine. I installed my tail fin upside down because I keep breaking it when I land. Guess Im not very good at the whole landing part yet.

Vette - The tail is normall installed down to prevent the tail rotor from hitting the ground. If you are breaking the fin you will certainly be breaking tail blades and shafts now.
