Default Beware !! Execution customs is scammer

I know your not supposed to but I have had such good luck on here that I paid him for a Trex 600 canopy through PayPal as a gift, not because he asked but I asked if he would give it to me for x amount if I payed as gift to avoid his fees. Anyways I wanted to make everyone aware so that no one else gets ripped off, I have pm'd him at least 3 -4 times over the last few weeks with no response and it shows he has been on here and now he's even blocked me from sending him pm's.

Just so you now, thats against paypal's term and conditions. You aren't supposed to use the gift option for good and services. Plus now you have no recourse since paypal considers it a gift.

You should post in that thread that you paid and to warn others.

Not at all. Just saying that its an example as to why you never want to gift money.

In fact, if they seller says that they want you to pay the fee, thats also against paypals terms. If the seller wishes to have the costs covered, they should price the item accordingly so they make what they wanted after the fee.

i would still go after this guy though. post int e thread and try to find him on other forums and post there. sometimes pressure gets people to make it right.

I see these posts so many times.......paying as gift. WHY?? Its an extra few dollars if that for the insurance you get of being able to file a claim should you need to. Why are you trying to save an extra few pennies for what you're giving up in return? I feel for ya man - hope you get it resolved. Lesson learned I guess.

Pas a gift to someone you do not personally know is asking for trouble. You might as well kiss your money goodbye.

I will avoid / back out of any deal that asks for a gift payment. Huge red flag!

I had someone purchase a heli from me before and told me he was going to send as a gift, I told him please don't. There is no protection for you if anything happens. He didn't know the risk and had been doing that in the past because a seller told him to do that. If the seller insist on not paying for PayPal fees that's fine just pay the 3 percent difference and pay as goods or services. A lot of times it's really only a few dollars if anything

Not to mention it's a PITA to ship to somebody if they send as a gift, as no shipping info is attached to the transaction. PP is SO convenient and even saves sellers a few bucks on shipping...

I have done this as well, not worth the few dollars saved.
