The stock batteries are actually not that bad. I have found first hand that the NanoTechs are not better than the stock batteries. Their advertised capacity of 300mAh is actually around 250, and they hold good power only for the first minute or so. So much for the 35C rating. They are good value, but nothing special. |

Well I'm not new to this and the head speed is definitely higher for the first 3 miutes and they last long enough before the motor gets to hot...Like I said I like them. How did you verify 250 mah?

you could have inferred that mfr. specs are not necessarily graded on the same scale from the turbo ace garbage batteries that claim to be about the same capacity/discharge rating as the vastly superior Hyperion cells. even the smaller stock cells easily put them to shame.
a battery analyzer can verify a battery's capacitance. hk sells one for about 20 bucks. you can also set up an arduino to do it pretty easily. |

Well that has pretty much answered the question.
Hyp 320/25C ![]() Found the Hyp 320mah, 25C bare pacs for $3.75 each at HeliHeli in AZ, USA. Bought my Hyp 240s from them when I bought my first GCP. Now that I am brushless I will go back to him for the 320s as I put Micro Deans on. RD ![]() |

HP25C03201S is for the unwired pac.
The picture shows the 240 but discription says 320 and P/N reflects same and price shows $3.95 but drops to $3.75 and I think there is a 10% discount code for first time buyers. Shipping is $5.99 USPS. Waiting for an out of stock item before placing order. Until someone else reports on a new battery, this looks like the best option. RD |

Okay..... Here is the final thoughts on this...
If you want long flight times and don't do heavy 3D... then the 25c 320mah If you want heavy 3D action.. then the 35c 300mah is the way to go.. this battery basically weighs the same as the 25c 240mah. But with better head speed...... |

I have one skid modified to use this battery, that I keep on one of my 2 BL Mini/Genius'. Heated a pair of needle nose pliers and inserted where batt goes and applied pressure in the open position. Take it slow and keep working it. After widened, cut out the bottom ribs so it can clamp onto the batt. Getting a good solid 5:30 compared to 3:00 on the 240mah. Worth having a special skid IMO. Easy to change on a Mini. RD ![]() |
