Default Swash balls ?

Just going through my swash on my second 7hv and was about to take the balls off check clean and re do the thread lock when I was met by some odd looking screw heads.

Never seen anything like it in this hobby can anyone shed some light on the matter or is it some super duper way of attaching them ?

No hex driver is going to work with this funky looking screw. I will take a macro close up tomorrow with my dslr and not my phone as before.

They are just solid balls, ie one piece, no through bolt.
Use your standard 3mm driver, easy as that.

Sure looks like a 6 point hex, that's what mine are.
Are you suggesting they are Torx. maybe?

Got it sorted now guys. Had some burr left over in the hole which caused my hex driver to not seat in properly. Didn't want to force it as that normally ends in disaster for me! Picked it out today with exacto knife and all is good.
