Can I go from 18g on the battery to 20g on the jst connector? The jst comes with 20g wire already attached.

my flying buddy gets them that don't have wires on them. and I ask him how he was putting his together. he siadit was a little hard but he likes them better. also fo some out there the hyperions fit under my 250 fine but the v1 canopy is a little wider and longer. the se is a little tighter then the v1. I am trying to post some pics of the canopy stand off mod I did to mine. my buddy just did his and loves it.

Did you try TP's battery last week end? What is the performance in comparison with Hyperion G3 CX?

way more power and fits like the align batteries do under the 250SE canopy. I picked one up over the week end $36.99 plus tax. the only think is the gyro got a bit of a wag so I had to come down 3 clicks to stop it. still that leaves me running 30% in the travel ajust for the gain. also tryed the 9257 on my tail and liked it as well. I still think the the 5084 is better but that's because I spent money on it.

I have both the Hyperions and the Outrage NRG's the Hyperions are longer and are a tight fit, they will work. The NRG's are shorter and have no issues. Price point is bascially the same as the Hyperions and have the same charge rate (5C). I modded the canopy mounts by moving them 7mm forward, this gets me plenty of room.

Otherwise definitely place the balance wires under the battery and the main leads to the left or right side. This gets you the most room for the canopy.

the only problem I have with them is the 1c charge rate and the fact they are only $3 cheaper then the hyperions or NRG's that have a 5c charge rate. I think there fine if you don't mind waiting to charge. I could not get them as I have 5 packs and by the time I have flown them all there is three more charged up and waiting to fly again. IMO if your looking for a cheap pack that will fly fine and don't mind the 1c rate there your packs. but if you can't get enough of the 250 and you want to fly all day go the $3 extra route and get a pack you can charge in 10-15 minutes. at 3c my hyperions take 16 minutes to charge I can stay out all day with 5 packs. I do how ever have one TP 45c 850 pack that is brand new and can go 6c for charging so I have 6 packs now. I will be buying the TP packs from here on. the extra c rate make a huge differance on the 250. almost like changing out the power plant. IMO of course.

P.S. the TP packs are really costly at $36.99 + tax but the power is WOW

I'm going hyperion next set. I like the 5C charge though I can only do 3C. At the moment I'm still on the cheap blue 850 20C-2C $9 packs and frankly I'm not good enough to really tell the difference in performance when it comes to helping me fly better. I did do the battery tray angle mod and if I'd gone a tad steeper I'd been able to fit the canopy on using my hyperion 1300 3s packs.

Default Batteries for 250

I have only ever ran pulse 860s so I have nothing to compare to. How do they stack up next to the hyperions and the TP?

At 13 bucks a pop they are really inexpensive

I am using Zippy Compact 30c from Hobbyking. Every bit as good as my one Thunder Power 65c but a fraction of the cost.
