Default Best way to remove E5 mushroom tail gear

Hi Guys,

well today I put my E5s in today and along with the damage the mushroom gear in the tail box got stripped.

just wondering what is the best way to remove this gear?

Put it in the freezer for 5 min and you will be able to push the delrin gear out by hand.

+1 on freezing it, i use a can of compressed air turned upside down, freezes in seconds

Drop the new one in the freezer at the same time. Will make getting it seated in the bearings much easier!
