Default Carry box

Hi,

Has anyone set up a carry box for the 6hv? Seems like it wouldn'y be that heavy if the right box was found. Guitar cases and the like are not that heavy.

The reason I ask is because I'm always woried about my heli being damaged by toolboxes and other stuff when turning corners in the car.

A hard case that size would be awfully heavy. I use a Heliguard padded soft case. I can just toss the heli on top of everything else in the car, even on its side, and it has yet to suffer any damage. An added bonus is that I can carry my Atom 500 (for which I also have a Heliguard) and 6HV in one hand.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

What's the price on the heliguard? Does it have a spot for the transmitter?

$105-$110, depending on which one you get. I bought the regular T-Rex 600 bag, which is plenty roomy vertically and sufficiently long for the 6HV. They also sell a T-Rex 600EFL FBL-only bag that I assume is not as tall.

No, but you could have a separate small TX case and probably carry both the TX case and the heli bag in one hand. It does have some pockets for lipos and such though.

Think I'm going get one. I hate getting the 6hv to the truck. It take 3 trips to load it all!

I use my golf travel case. I can fit my 6hv and 500 in the case. If you don't golf, you can probably find one to fit even better than my case (which is a little heavy - but it protects my clubs very well).
