Default SG Reactor HVX Wiring Setup

Hi Guys

Just got Scott Grays Reactor HVX for my Fusion 50. I want to make sure I am hooking this up properly and was hoping another HF has documented this. I have listed my Heli and electronics I am using for this. Any help would be great, I have reached out to Scott but have not heard back.

Outrage Fusion 50 FBL
Ikon FBL
12S system with (2) 3700mah 30C running in series
CC, BEC Pro (not sure if I have to use this with the HVX?)
CC, ICE2 HV80 ESC

Thanks again guys for any help you can provide!

The Reactor is a voltage regulator itself, so it replaces your BEC Pro and performs the same task, however the one you quote is only rated for 2-4S lipo, so you cannot power it from your flight packs, and will need a separate lipo battery for it to regulate down.

One of the advantages is it has the ability to separate the power to the servos out from the rest of the electronics, so they wont drag the voltage to your RX, FBL controller, etc and cause a brown out. You can also set higher voltage to be sent to the servos, and lower to the rest of the electronics

Wiring should be straightforward in the instructions. The main difference is your servos connections will not go directly to the Ikon and will connect through the SG Reactor and then it connects to the Ikon which will get the servo signals from the Ikon. This way the servos can have one voltage set, and the Ikon and sats can be powered with a different voltage if they are not rated for the same voltage as the servos are.

Thank you for the great info, especially about the BEC. I did forget to mention I will be running a 2200mah 3s battery for the HVX. Next step is to hook everything up for a clean look, I will post pictures once I get to this point.

Thanks again!
