Default 5 Volt BEC Sufficient?

I got a Blade 550x kit that included an e-flight 10a/5v bec. I also plan on installing a Hobbywing 100A V3 Platinum ESC, which includes a built in BEC with adjustable voltage from 6-8 Volts. When I look at servo specs, it seems that most perform faster and with higher torque at 6 volts rather than 5. So my question is, am I fine with the 5V BEC, should I use the HW built in one, or look for another external BEC?

What servos are using? The 550x combo came with servos that work fine with the 5v bec. Have more then 300 flights with that setup.

The kit didnt come with the Spektrum servos, so I'm going with 3 1258TG Savox on the cyclic and 1 1290mg Savox on the tail. They are pretty much identical to the Spektrum servos in the specs though.

As far as I know, savox are very power hungry. I wouldn't be worried so much about the voltage as the continuous and max amp output of the BEC.

Thanks all - I decided to run a 2s LiFe receiver pack at 6.6V and skip the BEC altogether. This seems like a much better solution because it solves the voltage, current, and point of failure problems associated with the BEC.
