AMEN!!! That is what I kept asking but couldn't seem to get clarification on. Thanks for chiming in...... & thanks to those going into more detail too!

Nobody's splitting hairs we were merely asking what is different about the different blade types. I don't know anything about them yet & am learning more of course. Cost wise they are ALL cheap really compared to stock ones so money really isn't the issue there just selecting the most appropriate type for a more successful flight or perhaps crash...

The recent posts detailing the blade differences is very helpful to me & I appreciate the folks kind enough to elaborate...

I'm not sure why it really matters. This is a "cheapest blades" thread. These are cheap and functional. If you want something awesome, pay for it. Otherwise, don't split hairs.
I do, along with others that are trying to follow the advice given in this thread. Some say to buy the fiberglass 335mm blades from a particular supplier, but they don't exist (they have 325mm FG or 335mm FRP). It was never a question about the price of the blades, it was a question of if the blades were the same as suggested. So without any particular knowledge on on the subject it is worth a bit of clarification.

They are far better than woodies.

I still prefer the 325 (315mm) FG blades.

I'd rather get CF blades than the FRP.
Thank you for the clarification.

The only difference is the length of the blade (which accounts for the added weight). The construction of this, http://www.hobbypartz.com/60p-pro-3352.html is identical to this, http://www.hobbypartz.com/60p-pro-3252.html.

How do you know this?

Its been stated earlier in this thread that they are different, that FRP and fibreglass are not the same....

Do you have both the ones from EXI and the ones from HK? (Real question, not sarcastic)

I was under the impression that the ones from HK were FRP and the EXI were FG only.

I can break one tonight and post a picture. you'll see that they are mostly FG.

I could be totally wrong on FRP vs FG, but that was my personal experience. I bought 2 pairs from HK of 325mm (315mm) and they were heavier and harder.

I only have the EXI blades from HobbyPartz. Both lengths have a foam core with CF leading edge and fiberglass shell.

The ones from HK were hard plastic inside, not foam.

Might have been a different one from the one listed earlier in this thread though..

This is good to know thanks so I might just get these 335 mm FRP blades since they are the same make-up. I'm not sure why they have different product name descriptions on their website......strange..

It's like I said earlier, Fiberglass is FRP (fiber reinforced plastic). Xheli site describes them both as FRP.

http://www.xheli.com/60p-pro-3252.html

http://www.xheli.com/60p-pro-3352.html

Of course labeling something as FRP doesn't guarantee it's Fiberglass reinforced plastic. Carbon Fiber reinforced plastic is also considered to be FRP.

DO I need the 325MM with these Blades or the 335MM..I know the EXI Blades some people are using the 335MM because 325MM is shorter than the Stock blades so I was just wondering if that applied to these blades as well..Take a look at the rest of the site to he's got some good deals. He also has Fusano Blade 450 3d Canopies Unpainted so you can do them up how you like..

both will do.

by the way, these on rotorquest are CF, not FG.

you need 325mm from hole to tip. Stock is 325mm hole to tip. EXI blades are 315mm hole to tip but labeled as 325mm.

The shorter ones works fine.

I see they do have both the 325 & 335 mm FRP blades available on their site though at not too high a price.
