Default Goblin 570 -- cyclic servo arms

I joined the Goblin ranks. I will be building a Goblin 570. It will be my first Goblin and my first belted helicopter, so I may be posting many question.

I will be using the 25T spline Futaba BLS255HV cyclic servos. I will be using either the iKon or the VBar.

According to the manual, I need servo arms to give me 16-18mm length.

What 25T spline servo arms are you guys using with optimal resolution results with either the iKon or the VBar?

SAB makes servo arms for the goblin and are available at Helidirect (or that's where I bought from). I picked up a set when I purchased a used 700 a few weeks ago. They are really nice and conveniently marked with 16-18-20.

SAB horns were out of stock when I needed them. Align aluminum and Secraft V1 17mm work also. It has to be a small horn near the servo to clear.

I also use SAB arms. I tried Secraft but didn't like how tight they are on the servo output shaft. 17mm seems to be offer perfect geometry with Futaba servos on the G570, but I use the center hole on the SAB arms (18mm) and they run very well.

Agree the Secraft were very tight. Wish they kept better stock on the SAB's, that is what I would have used.

If HD is out of stock, they are sold at many dealers... Just shop around.

Secraft 17mm work perfectly for cyclic.

It seems that 17mm length is working well for several of you. What FBL unit(s) like the 17mm geometry?

BD does. But it's fine at 18 as well.

Mini WiiBar (V-Bar) Pro - Set up was a breeze! I only have knowledge of 700G, not 570 but I now prefer V-Bar to MBX. Only downside - changes need to be done via laptop and not the convenience of a pushbutton/blinking light.

With the BK servos and 17mm Secraft horns the balls on the servo horns line up perfectly with the balls on the swash. The linkages are near perfectly vertical. That should work well with any FBL.
