Logo's have beutiful canopys and the SX is definately one of them. But the gap on the back of the canopy when in air irritates me! Soooo, 30 mins later on the hobby room I came up with this!

I needed some balsawood from a crashed plane, two magnets from an old destroyed indoor brushless motor and 4 cm of 3mm carbon fiber rod

A small video also!
thats a neat idea, i like it, looks like works very well too..this was one thing that i hated about the logo body's they still use the grommets wonder if they make quick release's

Thanks! I know you can buy magnet mounts for trex 600 canopy and they work really damn well. Not sure which fits the logo's but that should be easy to find out

Superglue! Don't know what you call it in English but it is this thin, fast drying glue.. We call it superglue

Yep, this is awesome, but doesn't work well;l if the Booya canopy mount! My last 600 3D had the booya, the SX will have the Canopy Lock with standard canopy mount.

Booya makes a quick release for the Logo. I had on my old 3D, but honestly didn't like much. I think the canopy lock using magnets is better. A friend of mine uses that in our field is it is quick and clean. The booyas don't get even close.

Nice please make sure if you have not to have a small dab glue to sensor into module, as well run a piece of servo tape across all servo tabs into module, "just in case". Heli and setup looks great!

Here is mine dream heli!

P.S.: That old Castle esc will be replaced as soon as new Scorpion Commander VI esc is released. But it works perfect for now.

From the HeliJive manual, page 14:

4.5 Cooling/Fixingchanged under (2.0-3.2V/cell).voltage Default:Sufficient cooling increases efficiency and lifespan of the ESC. The HELI JIVE ESC improves performance with increased cooling. If the HELI JIVE ESC is fixed on the model leave the cooling plate uncovered (Heatsink, #9470). Other, heavier heatsinks may put mechanical pressure on the ESC and may damage the ESC.The ESC should be fixed to the helicopter such that the heatsink is showing to the outside.

If your flying style doesn't warrant a heatsink, then you can of course leave it off. At the very least leave the cooling plate uncovered.

We're just trying to help -- not criticize, but hey, it's your money/heli. If you don't mind if the ESC thermals every other flight or dies an early death at least the decision is your own.

The esc doesn't get warm at all on this helicopter. I have it the same way and it is cool every flight. But good that you give a hands up!
