Default Charger case options

Hello everyone,

I'm ready to update my charger to a iCharger 406 duo with (probably) a computer server PSU.
I also want to have a case that keeps everything together in one convenient package. I also want to have the parallel boards flush mounted into the charging deck.

My question is what is the generally-recommended route?
I know Progressive RC has pre-made kits, but they seem like they are bit more expensive than I could do myself, especially if I use a server PSU.

In your opinion, is it worth paying for the Progressive kits or doing it myself?

If DIY, what particular cases do you recommend?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The cases progressiverc sells are Seahorse cases. They just rebrand them and mark them up 40%. I bought a seahorse case on Amazon and the deck lid from progressive. Their decklids are nice and fit very well in the seahorse case. Saved about $50 on the whole thing vs buying it from progressive.

Another cheaper case is the one from harbor freight.

These are the same case. On Amazon the price will go up and down a little. I paid $69 shipped for the SE720

I thought I had seen a charger case thread before.
What if we put a sticky link to it here in the battery and charger forum?

Thanks for the tips on the cases.
