Have you tried comparing parts from Vario? To the best of my knowledge, Vario bought a couple of manufacturers when they went bankrupt to get their designs and Robbe was one of them. Have a look at the online catalogue and see what is similar or identical to what you are looking for. IF you are attempting to find one of those old heads lying about to restore your helicopter to original parts condition, good luck.

Don,

Thanks, I got to admit that the Vario heads do look somewhat similair.. I think Vario has two different types of 3 bladed heads. I will have a closer look at opportunity.

Cheers,
Claus

I've now successfully installed the Vario 4-blade rotor head 10mm (704/35) together with the 65/20 swashplate driver and a Vario 35/18 10mm x 214 mm rotor shaft. Vario was kind to drill a required 3 mm hole for the main gear bolt - free of charge! For the push rods connecting to the swash plate the 70/50-4 (50mm) was the right size.

I will likely not have a real opportunity to test fly the setup until spring 2017, but I'm certainly considering installing a Vario 5 bladed head on one of my other Cuatros later on. I just need to confirm that the original Robbe swash plate can accommodate the fifth blade, but looks like it to me as there are 2 spare holes available?
