Default Spartan "Quark" Overview and Setup

Dang.... I feel lucky! I got the new Quark from Spartan!

Angelos..... THANKS man for hooking me up so I can show others about your new gyro! I am honored BUT dang it..... I just cant decide what heli I want to put it into?

HEY YOU ALL...... TELL ME what heli you would like to see me use this on and for setup videos!

OK so on to a simple product review and whats in the box video!

Video Link ->Quark Gyro Overview (46 Megs)

OK setup videos are done! Now I spent a lot of time and thus these are a little long going over "basic" setup of the heli, hardware, and then gyro! I see so many posts about misunderstandings of gyro setup that I wanted to make sure I covered all the bases this time. In fact to some extent these should replace my Gyro 101 video! If you don't watch any of them watch part 5 as I cover use and many misconceptions and questions I see on posts DAILY! Hope these help!

So here we go:

Video Link ->Basic Heli and Radio setup starting points (46 Megs)

Video Link ->Gyro Setup - Servo Selection (32 Megs)

Video Link ->Mechanical Setup and getting your rudder stick right FIRST! (51 Megs)

Video Link ->Programming the Quark - Gyro direction correction and end travel adjustments (71 Megs)

Video Link ->Usage, tips, hints and kind of a new gyro 101 information sharing! (89 Megs)

Thats it! I hope you enjoyed these and hope they were helpful to you!

Bob

Bob, I think you should build a gasser to mount it on, but your Trex700 will do for now.

Try it on the pantera you are building, and maybe on a micro (t-rex 250 or gaui 200).

I heard it's intended for small birds. That's why I'd love to see how it does on a nitro (.50 or .90)

If it was me, I'd put it on my 250 or 450 Pro!

Bob, we have a problem here... Everyone is going to tell you to put it on different helis.

Sooo, I think the best it to test it on all sizes, from 250 to 700, make everbody happy

Just kidding, on whatever heli I know he vids are gonna be great.

Maybe the 250 is interesting because many people seem to have trouble with the tail.

I personnally have interest to see if it has any issues with nitro vibrations

I know If you want us members to help you decide, then why don't you start a poll?? Keep it going for 3-5 days, and then see which heli gets the most votes!!

I think the Trex 600 would be a perfect partner for the Quark, can't wait to see your videos Bob.

i put mine on the Frankenheli, even being electric i would still recommend using the metal plate and dual stick foams.
