Hi Praztek
It is much simpler, you can connect the cyclic servos directly on the microbeast and use the regular connection cables between Microbeast and ar 7100 as the microbeast accepts 8.5V your tail servo connection is correct but you must not do the GEAR - CH3 connection on you schematic regards Marcel |

My servos are Align DS610 and DS650, which read that the MB will give too much current, so this was the solution.
I'm confused now, thought I had this setup nailed down. Can you go into more detail on this? " must not do the GEAR - CH3 connection on you schematic" |

thought they were 8917 like on tje schematic.
but does n't matter if they are 610 and 650 you just connect the normal way but your supply should not be more then 6V for the "must not do the GEAR - CH3 connection on you schematic" just dont put this wire or you will shorten your 6V and your 5V regulated output |

Sorry for the confusion. I must take a step back, kinda frustrated after spending today wiring it all. Glad I didn't get any further , by plugging it in.
I got this setup from the following. https://www.helifreak.com/showthread...00#post2665057 |

This complete wiring is working so you can keep it, it is just much more complicate then the normal way that is just as good.
but if you do it the regular way the GEAR - CH3 connection must be removed |

Alright
So, if I keep the wiring as in the diagram, then I can keep GEAR - CH3 connection ? If so, then back to my original question, which was since all the signal wires are attached to the MB, while getting powered by the AR7100r, how does the MB get power to to turn on. Thanks Again |

in this case, you have to keep the GEAR - CH3 connection because it is this connection that supply the microbeast with 5V, which answers your second question ;-)

Been flying FB heli`s for 3 years and more than happy with flying like that, never been really interested in FBL.Then a friend asked if i could build/set up a Trex 450 Pro FBL with the BeastX and i was suddenly dragged into the world of FBL.These vid`s have been a great help to me,just maiden-ed the Pro and it went ok but needs a little tweaking i think, the cyclic was pretty sensitive.
THANKS FOR DOING THE VIDEOS,much appreciated

Thanks for all the effort guys. This thread is a gem. No one at my club flies BeastX, they are all VBar devotees. Me I like to be different. That's the challenge. Your videos are as good as or better than a club member pointing and grunting.
