Default Blade 200 srx aftermarket frame?

I am very new to the the hobby helicopter scene. I have a Blade 200 SRX. I recently had a minor crash into the frozen Michigan tundra which cracked the front of my frame where the front landing skid attaches. It looks like the engineering of this plastic frame is pretty poor for support on the front of the helicopter and appears very easy to break. I was wondering if anyone uses the aftermarket aluminum/carbon fiber frame such as the Rakon Heli 200 SRX 452 or something similar. Is this significantly more durable then the plastic stock frame? Is it worth the extra money and time to switch all the parts over? I am just looking for something that will hold up a little better in minor crashes as I am still learning to fly this bird. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated or other frames you would recommend.

I have several builds using the stock Blade frame and 3 with the RKH (multi blade 2, 3, & 5 blade) frame. The RHK frames are more rigid but his might cause you more damage as the shock will transfer throughout the heli most likely breaking additional components.

My advice is to rebuild using the stock frame. Once you have become proficient and gotten the crashes out of your system, consider the RKH as an upgrade, not for durability but for the "bling" factor. Further, if you do a full RKH upgrade, you will notice a more responsive heli. That's the good news.... the bad news is that a crash will now cost even more to rebuild and take longer on the bench as all screws going into metal will need thread locker. I use a 5x magnified lamp to work on my RKH builds. The last one came with non-magnetic screws so seating them became a real challenge. Most are smaller than half a "BB". If you love building, you'll be thrilled! If you don't, you'll be
They are a good bad weather pass time when it's too nasty to fly!

Hope this advice give you a little direction. Good Day!
