What mod 1 gears is everyone running? Did they come from the original logo 600 or the SX

The Mod 1 gears take a bit more work to get to work since the pinions don't fit our typical motor shafts.

The Mod .7 off the Logo 500 and 550sx work perfect and the pinions are already the correct size. I don't think the Mod 1 is necessary as I have not heard of anyone stripping a Mod .7 in flight. It handles the 550mm blades with no problem, I can't imagine 480mm blades even stressing it.

You can just purchase the 550sx main gear directly from mikadousa and get the pinion of your choice for the HS you want to run.

But I refuse to run a scorpion motor and therefore have to have a 6mm pinion.

Ah ok, I believe it should just be a complete drop in fit. Yes, the 600sx main gear and pinion right off the mikadoUSA site should work. I have not done it to verify though, so maybe double check with some one running the mod 1
