Default Angry Bird by Phil Buckley

Here is my Align Trex 700E DFC with custom painted "Angry Bird" Canopy by Phil Buckley. Slight Canopy error as was painted for a nitro but canopy was electric. Had to get it anyway!! and thanks to Phil for the edit decals. Looks amazing in the air and attracts alot of attention. Enjoy. Running stock kit with YGE 120HV and ThunderPower 5000 65C.

It is not a DFC Pro actually, but I like the Pro canopy much more than the regular one. And since the frames are the same, it fits without modification.

Beautiful Canopy. Love the colors. Custom made?

Thanks.
Yes, custom made, but only the ones for the 700 and the 130x.
The 450 has a standard Align canopy.
Fusuno have the 600E Pro canopy as standard (Blue Castle), and I just requested the same design for the others.
No problem for them, not even an extra charge, but of course it has to be shipped from Vietnam.

I agree ;-)
It's the '3D extra wide' landing skid p/n H60040, a 600 skid actually. And the skids are mounted in reverse, I like it more that way, looks better and also keeps it from tipping backwards when the battery is out.

But a word of warning: it is actually a bit too flexible for a 700 size, the rear skid flattens under the weight, getting worse over time. I added some spacers under it to lift the rear, and I keep the skid in the correct shape by some wire when the heli is not in use.

I didn't really like the DFC canopy, even though it was close, it just wasn't what I was looking for. So I had Canomod paint a DFC Pro canopy in the same colors and asked them to get as close to the layout as the Goblin canopy they painted for me.
