Default Hi Guys

Well, I'm home again. Getting old sucks!

Once again the seizures seem to be under control. It's been a couple weeks now since the last one.

I've also weined off the narcotics and I'm using relaxation techniques and other new age crap to help with the pain. It's surprisingly effective, but not nearly as much fun as the oxycodin

Of course with the seizures I haven't dared to fly anything big, but I've been staying in practice with my MSXs, etc.

A couple of the guys stopped by yesterday with this. It's not my Mini-Titan, but it scares the crap out of the cat, so that's fun. Oh yeah, it was a gift, so it doesn't require meeting attendance.

It's not up to my usual standard of photographic excellence, but I had to take it with a cell phone.

I've been trying to catch up with all the posts and I am amazed at the progress you guys have made. To think it all started with getting banned from the other site!

It's nice to see some new guys too!

I am so happy that we made the decison early on to make our forum more about helping each other and less about any particular type of heli. Although the "tie that binds" will always be the good ol' Belt.

As I can't fly anything dangerous for the time being, I've been working on my police car. (NOTE TO NEW GUYS: yeah, I own a real police car. It is vintage, much like me) I got the graphics done and I'm rebuilding the lightbar. I can't drive it since I have to go 6 months without a seizure to have my license reinstated, but it's fun to sit in the driveway with the siren going and drive the neighbors nuts. He-he-he

I'm looking forward to one of my pals coming over this afternoon. We're gonna sneak out to the garage and have a cigar

Jack !!!
You've been seriously missed, both as a friend and as an only force in the universe that can (sometimes) control Tom (I figured I'd snitch on him first while he's busy spending more money on his hexa)

Hey Jack, it's great to hear from you again, and see the progress on the car project.

I can only add that I hope you keep taking care of yourself as best you can, and we hope the heli gods will grant you more flight time and forum time this summer

Infact, you are a heli god here, so make a wish for yourself and theoretically, it will be granted

Saw you sneak in a post earlier Jack. So pleased you're back out and about, and more particularly in the air, even if it is with the relatively small ones. The new bird looks cool. I look forward to one of your enjoyable flight reports. Enjoy the cigar with your pal.

Cheers

Sut

HEY!!!! Momma says I'm an angel, i'll have you know!

Don't pay any attention to Jerry, Jack. He's just trying to deflect attention from himself, again.

Seriously though, my friend, you have been sorely missed!!! It's good to hear you are back, off the Oxy, and doing better. Just take good care of yourself and no worries. I'll handle that damn Jerry!

Beautiful nite last night. Warm and completely calm.

Snuck over to the park with some of my little helis.

First I tried my Esky Big Lama. Wouldn't lift out of ground effect. Dead servo.

Then I tried one of my Skylifters. Nope, missing a flybar.

My SR 180? Nope, dead battery.

My newest heli? Crashed twice. Finally realized it's mode 2.

Went home, flew the sim, then a buddy stopped by so we went out to the garage and had a cigar.

My fleet of little guys needs some attention! I should see if I can get that horribly expensive little Hirobo in the air again.

Oops. My boo-boo.

The new heli is 3-channel. The left stick only has throttle. The right stick is elevator and rudder. It can really screw ya up!

You really haven't, have you?
It was last year when the bear was still sleeping that you took a second mortgage on the house to finance the hexa project

Hmmm, you really are a bastard! But, no, it was a 3rd.

Hey Jack, just wanted to point out something that you told me when I did my Hexa. By deffinition, you count rotors. So, by that deffinition might I point out the oh so good friend of mine now has 2 quads, thus that counts for 8 birds right there, not to mention the 450, and a few other heli's he's picked up along your absence!

May you rot in hell, Jerry!

I'm so happy now that I sold just as many helis as I bougth last winter, so mathematically speaking, and when counting in units, I spent nothing in fact.
