Default Too the pros, Roll rate, blades?

Hi all,

I’ve used a few different blades and I find some to be much more responsive than others especially in the roll. If I’m looking for a good stable heli that can perform fast 3D with good roll rate, what blades would you recommend, what length and blade width? If I’m running a OS 55 motor would 620mm be better than 600mm?

How much degrees are you getting on left and right ailerons (cyclic) ?

I’m running light weight paddles.

Thanks,

The 600 will be faster than the 620 blades and use the light raptor paddles.

I have used both 600 and 620. 600 is way faster. I use Stick Bangers and NHP Agressor600 on both my helis. The NHP are really light but the cord is not as wide as the stick bangers. You will get both locally or through UK or USA sites

Roll rate is quick, but I took off the Raptor black paddles and put on a set of TREX 600 paddles. It made a huge difference. I have a set of Align White paddles on order (mainly because I like to see the white disk while doing some maneuvers).

I should have said that I used the 620 for learning to auto. They are way easier as they have lots more lift.

I currently use 600mm SAB carbon main blades nut I feel my previous CY carbon 600mm where much better, as they where wider by about 6mm, much better roll rate....

Are the swashes on the R50 Titan and X50 the same as the X50 swash looks a bit different, hence im concerned that this FBL head wont fit?

Tristin, Most 600 FBL heads have 10mm mounting holes and will fit on any 10mm Main Shaft. The Raptor 30 and 50 have 10mm Main Shafts.

I the x50 has a cPPM swash and the Raptor 30 and 50 are Mechanical (non-ccpm).

The head you have will work you have to use your swash plate though, and there is a metal alloy swash for the 30/50, I just purchased one.
