Hi,

Whenever I check the forum these days there seem to be a lot of people questioning the ability of the Tarot FBL unit. It would be wrong to gain the impression that it is beset with problems.

Having been there I would advise you to persevere. Most of the issues will be with your setting up of both the heli, mechanically and settings within the FBL unit.

I have one working very well on my 450 PRO and have now sorted the one I have on my 600 Nitro pro. The only outstanding issue I have is with the one on the 450 not initialising correctly on about 1 in 4 times.

I flew my 600 again yesterday evening putting half a gallon through it and really worked it hard and whilst my 3D skills are limited it really did get a pasting and didn't complain once.

The 600 has been hard to crack - with the inherent vibrations of the nitro etc but its there. If anyone is interested in the settings (which are a mile from those on the 450) I'll gladly PM them. I can probably tweak them a little more but at the moment I would say it is better than the CSM 720 gyro that was on there.

99% of problems I've seen posted are setup deficiencies: mechanical, gyro, or Tx. I've really only read 2-3 posts in which I was convinced the gyros were truly at fault. With hundreds, if not thousands, of users out there, these systems seem to have a failure rate (i.e. DOA) combarable to any other FBL box on the market, including the mighty VBar.
