Default FBL Gyro + Receiver?

Hi Guys,
I am so confused with the FBL Gyro + Receiver.
I purchases Spektrum + Beastx Combo because I am clueless.
Anyways I own a skookum 720 in the manual it mentions something about using satelite recievers from spektrum, how does that work? Put satellites on ur gyro and it doubles as a reciever?

My friend that owns the Vbar says he uses the Vbar as his RX.

Can someone please clarify Does Skookum and Vbar are able to function as ur reciever?

Satellite receivers are intended as add-ons to full Spektrum receivers (e.g. AR7010) to provide signal diversity. That's just a fancy word for making sure at least one antenna has a line-of-sight to the transmitter at all times. The satellites receive the radio signals, but they lack the part that decodes those signals into individual channel outputs; the main receiver does that.

Mikado and Skookum, and BeastX to a lesser degree in their MicroBeast (only one satellite), decided to design their FBL units to take those satellite receiver signals and decode them directly instead of taking individual channel inputs from a full receiver. It cuts down on the number of cables and frees up physical space on/in the heli's frame. The AR7200BX essentially puts the BeastX on par with the others.

So I don't need to buy a new reciver just satelites?

If the answer is no to above which receiever do u recommend.

I have DX7 so I wanted 7ch and they have plane jane 7110 that comes with 1 sat.
They got a Heli version of the 7110 and I got no clue if that stuff will help me.
Also there is a more expensive heli version that has RPM Governor, I think that's for nitro if not I have no clue what it is.

Advise plx

For the SK720? You just need the satellites. I'd suggest these ones:

I use 2 on my Atom 500 with a VBar. IMO, you should use 2 on anything larger than a 450.

The AR7110R's rev limiter is intended for nitros, so it would be a waste on an electric.

I don't recall if the SK720 has an output for an auxiliary channel like the full-sized VBar does. I don't think it does. What are you planning to use the 7th channel for? If you have a use for it external to the SK720, then I think you'll have to go to a full receiver.
