Don't even think of using the stabilization in the gyrobot 900 for anything serious - it works VERY poorly... How do I know? Well lets just say that's why I sold my gyrobot 900.

Do yourself a favor - get the co-pilot II - works at least 1000 times better..

A few of us here had issues with the stabilization - piro rate goes down to such a slow rate it makes useful flying impossible (note in the vid clip of the link you gave he doesn't actually fly around much).. the piro rate goes down to something rediculously slow like 1 rpm per 5-10 sec...

Folks here asked lf-technik if they would fix this and they said many months ago they were to release a firmware upgrade so the piro rate doesn't change - never came so I sold...

They also blatantly could not care less about customer service in fixing it either - they were simply not interested in issues with it.. (from several people... not myself)

I crashed my heli so many times trying to get acro mode working, never had any real luck.. it has a mind of its own and constantly battled your stick inputs...

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - you are wasting your money if you think it's going to help you like the guy in the vid clip... it's only good as a flybarless gyro so you might as well get the 700...

Get any other stabilization device on the market - just not this one..

here's what I think of the GB900.

I'd NEVER buy one again. the Helicommand is much better. I agree about the service form lftechnik. I wasn't impressed.
