Has anyone tried a 12 tooth pinion in there 500esp with a { M } motor ? I am wondering how the flight time and power is for sport flying ? I may try one and set the Throttle curve to a straight line 85% to 95% and see how run time is . Hopefully one of you guys have already done so and could give me some ideas what to expect. I think with a 3300 mAh 30 c 6s pack I could get up to 9 minutes of more with the right combo??

Yes but will it be too low ? I wonder if I would gain any flight time running 100% Throttle Vrs a 13 tooth at 100% throttle. ?? With R/C cars and trucks I aways gained run time and lost top end speed and gained low end punch. Wondering how it would effect the helis ??

I run a 12 tooth on my ESP and it's fine for sport flying and 3D. No it will not pop like the 13 tooth but the flight time is worth it to me. I get 8 minutes on the 500L motor with a 3000 pack.

EDIT: I run 100% flat.
