Question Gens Ace packs for my Logo 400.

Hi All,

I have been hearing quite a lot of hype lately about Gens Ace Lipo packs.

I see HobbyPartz finally have the Gens Ace 3300mah 6S1P 25C back in stock and I was thinking about ordering a few to try out.

1) First off are these packs OK for my setup? (Scorpion 4015-1070, Kontronik Jive 100LV, 19T mod 0.5 pinion and 500mm BBT Maniac blades)

2) Secondly do the Gens Ace packs really live up to all the hype?

Since getting gens ace for my logo 500 I miss shopping and researching lipo's. Get it?

6s 3300 for a logo 400 swinging 500mm blades might be too small. I would use bigger packs. 3800 or 4000 6s

3300mah fit good and work great. I was using Edge 523mm blades (Logo 10 stretch) with a 2000w and getting 4:30min with 20% left. Head speed was 2200 as I far as I remember.

Thanks guys, I'm going to give these a try.

My setup is similar to belcom's, just a little toned down and I'm getting 5 min on some old Zippy Flightmax 3000mah 20C packs so I'm hoping the 3300mah Gens Ace packs are going to give me a bit of a boost.

Maarset what packs are you running in your 500?

I'm running the 30C 5300 6S Gens Ace. But the 5500 6S would probably be a better fit. I can't go past the pinion with the 5300's

I am researching for my next heli... I am looking for a heli that uses 6s 4000 packs. Looks like the Logo 400 will fit this bill?

Default Gens Ace packs for my Logo 400.

Be a tight fit. Logo 500 with 523's might be better.

I also doubt 4000mah 6s packs are going to fit in a Logo 400.

I ordered some Gens Ace 3800mah packs for my Logo 400 and they won't fit without some cutting (they are an odd size though).

About the biggest pack I managed to fit in my 400 where Hobby King Rhino 3800mah 6s packs.
