dani, man your beatn the hell out of that X50 LOVE IT !! i noticed in the first video when you hit idle up that thing was screaming. what was the head speed? it seemed that after watching the other 2 vids and by the 3rd you lowered the head speed a bit?

got my X50 sittn while i get the servos for it. i have a ys56 and outrage pipe waiting to be dropped in. cant wait !! nice job on the videos. love the HD.

how do you like the ds650 servo on the tail? ill be using ds610's also but have been thinkn of using a ds650 on the tail instead of bls251. ill be using a gy520 gyro.

Thank your.

In the 1 video rpm in rotor is 2300
In the video 2 rpm in rotor is 2200
And the 3 video is 2250

Im flying in 2250 is intermediate. With the DS 650 is good and very low cost

Im no response whit de compatibil of the DS 650 with ds 520 But it has to go wrong

The ds 610 for the tail is veri slow velocity.

Greetings

At a head speed of 2250 what would you recon would your motor RPM be? Are you running the standard gear setup?

Very nice flying! That YS56 really rocks!

With it's quoted 8.5:1 gear ratio, that would equate to a motor speed of 19125RPM

nice work! are you using the full 15 degrees +/- pitch? I see the red canopy...are you running the belt drive tail?

I'm considering this heli for my first nitro helicopter. Should I get the YS56 instead of the TT Redline 56 or OS 55?

Here is what I'm thinking of using:

Spartan Quark - i already own one
Spektrum AR7000 receiver - already have it
Cyclic: Mi HK47011MG: 6V .07sec 416oz, torque, 58g $33.46
Tail: Turnigy BLS980 Digital Brushless 6V: .03 sec speed, 43oz torque, 58g $68
Approx 1500 mah LiFe receiver pack 6.6V ~$30

Thunder Tiger Titan X50 Combo Kit w/Carbon Fiber V2 Blades, RL-53H & High Flow Muffler [TTR4855-K11] $660 with engine/pipe
