Default AR7200BX software?

Does anyone have any idea if there will ever be software for setting up the AR7200BX's?

Thanks.

Pete

Microsetting software is coming sometime. But as we were told hopefully in about 2 or 3 weeks about 2 months or longer ago I have given up being anxious about it LOL!
It did take quite a while for beastx to get us the microsetting tools also so I now wait somewhat patiently ha.

Nice to hear! So this means software is up to come soon. How about the USB-interface? Or did I miss something? I think of replacing my GT5 with a AR7200BX (as I love my microbeasts), but I seriously want to be able to change my tailsym.

David,

When the software comes out will it use the beastx usb device? You say for now to use it but use it for what? Unless I'm mistaken there is nothing we can do with the usb now as there is no software or even new firmware or firmware flashing software.

Thanks,

Chris

I agree, whats the point of the usb if there no use for it. Been waiting forever for them to come up with something new. Even Tarot yzx gives you full software. . This may very well be tha last year for me with the BX, unless they come out with SL or Bail Out.

First of all the good new:

Please visit http://ar7200bx.beastx.com/ to get your Update to 3.1.0 + MicroSettings for your AR7200BX.

Please read and follow the instructions in the "How-To" carefully.

In the past there were some rumours if BEASTX and/or Spektrum are in charge of providing updates for the AR7200BX. I hope now it is once and for all clear, that this is done in close cooperation. This was the first step, the next one will be easier then.

For all the Mac-Users among us, there will be a software-package during this week.

The USB2SYS (BTXA76007) is also fine for the AR7200BX of course. I'm confident that there will be the Spektrum counterpart (SPMA3030) soon.

I updated and after trying to use the microsettings it says it will not work with my device because hardware version 1.x is needed. But in the update programme it says i have hardware version 8.x.

I do not understand ????

This is very ggod news to me. Even if not everything works perfect yet I'm glad to see the progress. So the AR7200BX is an option. Just need to give away my bunch of DSM2 satellites.

Thanks to everybody! Take care!

You are using the wrong Application (BEASTX MicroSettings) for the AR7200BX.
Therefore you need the AR7200BX MicroSettings.

The BEASTXUpdater is a universal application which uses a Low-Level BEASTX-Specific communication for the update process. So far the Updater can update any BEASTX Device (MicroBEAST and AR7200BX).

The BEASTX MicroSettings is specific to the MicroBEAST (Hardware 1.x) running firmware 2.x.x or 3.x.x.

The AR7200BX MicroSettings is specific to the AR7200BX (Hardware 8.x) running firmware 3.1.x

Please donwload the correct application for your device(s).

In future it's planed to have this funtionality combined in a single software, but that's still future plans.

Ow!! The software installation says, I cant have installed BeastX AND AR7200BX Software at the same time. Then it quits the installprocess.

As I have some microbeasts running, AR7200BX is obviously not an option anymore. sad ....
