Make sure any used Dx8 / Dx7s is registered with spektrum by the owner.
If not
You can not update any software. For example Spektrum just made a sail plane update for the Dx8

Mine are registered and I will de-register it to allow new user to put in his/her name.

I dont see why anyone on helifreak would want to sell a Dx8 for $185 shipped.

Dx7s is very very close to the Dx8 due to the fact it has the blue blacklite led upgrade.

I have the Dx6i and it works good but it is a little beat up so it would be hard for me to sell it.
To sell the Dx6i
I would have to take a few pics and describe any dings or scraps but again the Dx6i is functional but I would sell it As Is.
Ya know its not like my Dx8 or Dx7s the Dx6i is older and a little worn. Dx6i is nice to start out with or use as a back up Tx.

It too is a little worn but IMO Dx7 is light years better than the Dx6i. I could sell the Dx7 but its like the Dx6i worn so I would have to send pics and kinda describe it also sell the Dx7 as is.
Dx7 is very functional and if it were me I would go for a Dx7 over a dx6i
