My understanding is that the X50E is also discontinued. Remaining are only three models...360, 550, and 700.

It depends particularly on exactly what you need.

I'm in the same boat! X50 has been a part of my fleet since it release date. Nothing will ever compare. I almost cried when I read the news about parts being discontinued. But after some research and consideration I found my self also comparing trex 600n and synergy n5c. The weight difference between X50 and 600N is about 0.11pounds. Not bad! Synergy 0.96 still not bad. Especially with the new power plants available like the YS 60Sr, and o.s 55hz and hzr.

Here's what I found

X50 weight 6.94lbs

N5c according to team pilot 7.9lbs

Align trex 600N 7.054lbs

Huuummm, what to do!?

600n Dfc seems to get a good wrap, pretty light too. Parts everywhere too.

That does suck....
I saw 10 units of the Trex 600N for 220$ a piece (flybar version)
picked up a TRes 700N for 420$ SE....
No bragn... just saying that perhaps you should just pick up some other heli. I realize it sucks. Having a name like TT in the HELI market was the bread and butter of the market.... MY guess....
The cheap china copies, and quad copters/drones just took most of the market away....
This is my 1st heli .... so can't wait to get my Trex 700N and new OS 105 and power pipe up in the air...
