DX8 to DX9 transfer of models
Can I save all my models to the DX8 SD card and transfer or import them all over to the DX9? I know that the DX9 has more throttle points and pitch points on it's curves. I'm assuming it can account for that but I'll check.

The DX9 has more available points for TC and PC...but each model slot should begin with the standard 5-point curves

The DX9 is so packed with feature that there are areas I still don't understand...and I've had Mine for over 2 years Got a terrific deal though...sold My DX6i for $100 and helped out at the busy LHS right before Xmas...so I got a $50 discount...ended up spending $250 for a brand new DX9 Just be sure you register at Spektrum and do all the software and audio updates befre you set up any models...much easier that way Not sure what heli's you fly, but if My signature is any indication, I have lots of SPM's |

Blade 300x, Align 550 DFC, Blade MCPX BL.
I'll do all the updates at first. Thanks. |

Looks like you have plenty of flying experience so My mCPX BL SPM wouldn't help you much since I fly pretty conservative Most interesting feature about the DX9 is the voice callouts... I use nearly everything I can think of and nearly every switch activates a voiced something |

oh, I'm still conservative. My MCPX BL, I have two different models set up in the transmitter. One for outside, one for inside. It flies like a coaxial in the house. I'm looking forward to the call outs. I didn't need the DX9 coming from a DX8 but that's cool. Well, I sort of did. I'm needing the 9020 receiver do set up a few things on the new beastX pro.

took my info from here. I can do that. But it's not hard. I copied my model to an empty slot and made these few changes. |
