Default Duralite/9Z

Not three weeks ago I purchased the Duralite Plus battery for my 9C TX. On Tuesday, my new 9ZWCII arrives. I'm guessing the 9C battery won't fit in the 9Z case considering Duralite sells a battery for each radio??

Can anyone confirm this.

I also recall hearing something about Duralite having a trade in option that you could put towards new batteries.... Ideas?

They can probably put your 9C cells in a 9Z case for not that much $$. Call Jack.

The battery for the 9Z is in a plastic case with a printed circuit board.
I believe the 9C battery is just a battery in heat shrink that plugs directly into the radio.

As Will said, you can get in touch with Duralite. They can insert the cells you have now in the plastic case that is required. The price difference between the 9C battery and the 9Z is $20. So I would think that the cost to make the change would be in the $20 to $30 range.

Duralite is great to work with. I'm sure you can get them to help you out.
