Good deal or not?
Hello
I'm not 3d flyer, only sport flying (i'll see later, I take time to learn), but i'm flying since 2 year on micro (mcpx, mcpx bl, nano stock, nano bl, 130x (sale)...) and i want an heli 130x<450x because I had little field to fly, i found an used trex 250 se , dfc with robird fbl unit and 3x ds410 cyclic,1xds420 a/c brushless 3400kv I had read some forumer advice, who said the trex is for confirmed flyer. For me it's bigger 130x, but is it stable like it? Is it easy to setup with my dx7s (reverse, ...) |

Re: Good deal or not?
I sold mine a few months back but it is a handful to fly. Tail issues always and very fast. However it made me 10 times better. I was scared to try anything on my 450 before it now I'm slamming my 700 with no fear. It's a great teacher.

All things being equal, I think it's harder to fly than an equivalent 450, but FBL does help.
A stock 130X is actually easier to fly (imho) but it's a PITA to repair and maintain. If you get a used heli though, I'd tear it apart and rebuild it. Just to be sure.

I have the SE converted to DFC with microbeast and it was easy enough to set up on my dx6i then later on my new dx8.
Yes I think it's a good deal - probably a little more difficult to fly than my 130X when it's flying but you get used to it. In my opinion it's a proper cp heli, set it up, stay 3 mistakes high and fly the tar out of it and be prepared to turn it soon cause it is really fast.
