Default Anyone running a vBar with an X5?

Just want to avoid any nasty surprises like when I used the vBar with the 600Pro. I found out I had to use different length ball links so I could get the vBar within the acceptable ranges during the setup. Just wondering if anyone is using standard FES head with a vBar and 80+ on the setup screens or if any mods are necessary.

I think I've decided to sell one of my helis to fund the FBL conversion for the X5.

Yep, vbar 5.2 here. I had no problems with mechanical setup using all stock FES parts.

I have the X5 with the 2nd version of the swash plate (the one before the current swash) and I run 100/100 on collective/cyclic on Vbar 5.2. I hear the geometry is a bit different on the new swash. Also, I use the Mikado servo arms (P/N: MIK4022) on JR 8717 servos.

I had experience with the Vbar and not with the Beast. In fact the beast was put on my brothers 500. Can't figure it out, still haven't used it much though.
EVERYTHING moves in the right direction but it is VERY slow. Even with it on the fastest setting. Still so slow.

its not set correctly,

just find a video of dave (akamullen) flying, his moves are really fast.

beastx is not the problem, really any fbl unit improperly setup will not work right or at all.

hard to say what was wrong, the unit didn't read your geometry correctly, wrong control parameter, wrong servo link position.

The swash moves very slow on the ground or the bird moves very slow in the air?
