Do I need to do Finless' Tailgrip mod on my EFL Pro?

Hi - As above.. Do I need to flip my tail grip on my 500efl pro like Finless Bob's 450 tail grip mod?

No. It's just the 450 that had the geometry problem with the TBs being off with the wrong pitch, slider centered

Thank you. I just got to wondering because a friend of mine asked me.
And also when I was building my EFL, I noticed that the manual states that the tail slider needs to have equal spacing on either side of it along the tail shaft. But when it's centered, I noticed that the tail does not have any pitch so that's when I started thinking if the tailmod needed to be done on this...

I've just hovered and done lazy 8's outside half an hour ago (my first flight on the 500) and it looked to be ok. I'm not gonna try rate mode on it

Ya, forget RM. I always set the tail up so there's a slight amount of pitch in the TBs instead of centering the slider.

I setup my tail blades even in rate mode with the beastx. I dont offset for torque. I dont ever fly in rate mode just for setting up the tail.
